Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions govern the use of martialartsgroup.com, the website of Martial Arts Group (MAG). They explain what you may expect from the website, how you may use its content and which law applies.

1. Who we are and when these terms apply

This website, martialartsgroup.com (the “Website”), is operated by Martial Arts Group (“MAG”, “we”, “us”), established at IJzerwerf 15, 2544 EP The Hague, The Netherlands. You can reach us at info@martialartsgroup.com or +31 6 30 31 25 80.

These terms and conditions apply to every visit to and every use of the Website. By using the Website, you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Website.

2. Purpose of the Website

The Website provides general information about Martial Arts Group, our services for federations, gyms and clubs, companies and athletes, and about our platforms, partners and athletes. The Website is informational: it is not a web shop, and no agreement is concluded through the Website.

Any collaboration with MAG is governed exclusively by a separate written agreement or proposal, together with any terms and conditions that are expressly declared applicable to it. In the event of a conflict, that agreement prevails over these terms.

3. Information on the Website

We take great care to ensure that the information on the Website is accurate, complete and up to date. Nevertheless, the information may contain errors or become outdated, and we may change it at any time without notice.

The information on the Website is general in nature. It does not constitute professional, legal, medical or financial advice and is not tailored to your personal situation. Before starting any physical training, workout programme or martial arts activity, you should consider your own health and, where appropriate, consult a qualified professional.

4. Acceptable use

You may use the Website for personal and business information purposes. When using the Website, you agree not to:

  • use the Website in a way that is unlawful or that infringes the rights of MAG or third parties;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its servers or related systems, or disrupt their operation;
  • introduce viruses, malicious code or other harmful material;
  • systematically copy, scrape or harvest content or data from the Website without our prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

5. Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights relating to the Website and its content — including texts, photographs, images, logos, trade names, designs and the underlying software — belong to MAG or to the third parties who have licensed them to us, such as our partners and athletes.

You may view the content and share links to pages of the Website. Any other use, including reproducing, publishing, distributing or modifying content, requires our prior written permission, unless this is expressly permitted by mandatory law. Logos and names of partners, platforms and athletes shown on the Website remain the property of their respective owners.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the Website available at all times, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of viruses. We may suspend, change or discontinue the Website, in whole or in part, for maintenance or other reasons, without prior notice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, MAG accepts no liability for any damage arising from or relating to the use of the Website, the temporary unavailability of the Website, or reliance on information published on it. Nor are we liable for damage resulting from the use of websites of third parties to which the Website links.

This limitation does not apply to damage caused by intent or deliberate recklessness on the part of MAG, or where liability cannot be excluded under mandatory law.

9. Privacy

We handle personal data with care and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The Website sets no tracking cookies and contains no forms. Read our privacy policy for full details of how we process personal data and of your rights.

10. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms and conditions from time to time. The version published on this page applies to every visit to the Website.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms and conditions and the use of the Website are governed by Dutch law. We would always prefer to resolve any question or disagreement together, so please contact us first. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted exclusively to the competent court in The Hague, the Netherlands, unless mandatory law designates another court.
